EGADE Business School at the Tecnológico de Monterrey has launched the new webinar series “Rising to the challenge: Leadership in the face of COVID-19”.
These online and live sessions will be hosted by EGADE Business School faculty members and opinion leaders, to support the business community by providing reliable and updated perspectives to help address global contingencies.
In its first session on March 25, Raúl Montalvo, Professor of Global Economy and Director of the EGADE Business School campus in Guadalajara, hosted a webinar entitled “Mexico's macroeconomic perspective in view of COVID-19”.
“The supply chain can be affected directly or indirectly through other countries due to the supply of final and intermediate goods. China is Mexico's fourth-largest export partner and second-largest import partner. Therefore, there can also be an impact on the added value of Mexican products, given that, according to the OECD, 7.7% of the added value of our exports comes from China,” Montalvo noted during the webinar.
The next installment of the series, “Leadership in adversity: Empowering ourselves in the face of today's challenges”, will be held on March 27 and will be hosted by Jaime García Narro, Associate Dean of Executive Education at EGADE Business School.
