Learn about the admission process

The EGADE Business School Admissions Committee carries out a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate looking to join any of our programs. We assess our candidates' professional experience, background, and academic performance, along with quantitative elements such as their scores on the admissions and English proficiency tests.

Step 1. Admission application for national and international students

Your advisor will email you your access to your admission application.

In the admission application you must upload the following:
Mexican students:

  • Copy of birth certificate

  • Copy of CURP

  • Copy of official identification (INE/Passport)

  • Copy of the legalized professional degree or diploma

  • Copy of the legalized certificate of studies or academic transcript 

  • Copy of professional license

  • Up to date CV

  • 2 professional recommendation letters

  • Digital photograph (in PNG format)

*All documents must be in PDF format and if applicable must be on both sides.
These documents will be requested in original.

International students:

  • Copy of apostilled birth certificate

  • Copy of passport or ID

  • Copy of the apostilled professional degree and/or bachelor's degree 

  • Copy of the apostilled certificate of studies or academic transcript

  • Up to date CV

  • 2 professional recommendation letters

  • Digital photograph (in PNG format)

The validation of professional studies is the procedure you must carry out before the Ministry of Public Education in Mexico, to legalize studies completed abroad in Mexico.

The Ministry of Public Education (SEP) is the entity responsible for administering, regulating, and promoting education in Mexico. Among its functions is the legalization of studies undertaken by foreign students in Mexico. This process is an essential requirement to pursue postgraduate studies in Mexico. Upon completion of your postgraduate program and meeting graduation requirements, you can obtain your electronic degree and authentication certificate. This enables you to apply for your electronic certificate and complaete the apostille and/or authentication process for your postgraduate documents (as applicable).

Once admitted to your chosen program, we will provide you with the details to complete this process.

Step 2. Schedule and do the interview online (KIRA)*

Once you have completed your admission application, your admissions advisor will invite you to participate in the online admission interview, based on your profile and the program you are applying for. They will also inform you if it is necessary to take the Graduate Studies Admission Test (PAEP) and/or an English proficiency exam.

What should I expect from the interview?
It is an interview where we seek to measure your skills, competencies, and business awareness.
  • You will only need a device with an internet connection, camera, and video.
It will take between 40 to 50 minutes to complete the interview.
It will consist of about 9 oral questions and 1 written question with limited time for each one.
The Languages of the interview will be Spanish and English.

The language of your interview will depend on the language of the program you are applying for:

  • EGADE MBA, Full-Time MBA, MAF, MAF Online, MBD, MMT: Spanish and English
  • EMBA, MBM and MBA Online: English*

*Additionally, these programs require a current and valid English proficiency test. Consult with your advisor for available options.

There is only one opportunity to conduct the interview.
  • No breaks are allowed but don't worry, you will have the opportunity to do unlimited practice sessions before starting your test.
Step 3. Once you have completed the above steps.

Your application will be evaluated by an Admissions Committee which will holistically determine the final decision regarding your admission.
