Sustainability and Social Impact
Businesses play a crucial role in addressing the pressing sustainability challenges of our time, including the climate emergency and social inclusion. To rise to these challenges, companies must go beyond ethical, innovative, and sustainable operations—they must embrace an active role as agents of change.
Facing Sustainability Challenges
Embracing sustainability internally and collaboratively with stakeholders is just the beginning. Long-term viability requires organizations to embed sustainability principles in partnership with other actors.
As a business school, we contribute to the development of the skills and mindset of future leaders to drive corporate sustainability. Our social impact and sustainability strategy is inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
EGADE Action Week
Our social impact and community engagement are amplified through EGADE Action Week—a space designed to transform business for sustainable impact through the SDGs.
The week features workshops, exhibitions, open calls, events, and high-impact activities aimed at engaging our extended community.
EGADE Action Week expands our social impact and encourages community participation beyond the classroom, creating opportunities for learning and collaboration from diverse perspectives.
Impact Engagement Framework
Our social impact and sustainability strategy follows a transversal, multi-level framework. It applies a four-quadrant model with innovation and foresight at the center. On the x-axis, the school’s capabilities generate or facilitate impact; on the y-axis, the scope and reach are defined, from the school’s core activities to those beyond them.
