EGADE Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey appointed Eduardo Aguiñaga Maldonado as the new national director of the Master in Business Management (MBM) program.
In this role, Eduardo replaces Julien Marcel Depauw, who continues as Director of Academic Innovation, and whom we sincerely thank for his contribution to the leadership of the program.
Eduardo holds a Ph.D. in Administrative Science and an MBA from EGADE Business School. He has taught in undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education programs at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla and the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. He has also taught Ethics and Corporate Sustainability Programs at EGADE.
As a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI Spanish acronym), Eduardo is the author of several scientific articles and book chapters on entrepreneurship, business models and the circular economy.
As Leader of Circular Economy at HEINEKEN Mexico, Eduardo has implemented “Circular Ecosystem” concepts developed during his doctoral studies at EGADE Business School, at HEINEKEN’s newest brewery in Chihuahua, Mexico, which has been recognized as the company's most sustainable worldwide. He has trained more than 2,000 employees and implemented many important circular economy initiatives, during his time at the company.
Eduardo has collaborated in various consulting projects focused on the recovery of waste in Mexico and Latin America together with researchers from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
With the knowledge of Aguiñaga Maldonado and his great business experience, in addition to his global, disruptive and innovative vision, EGADE Business School seeks to consolidate the MBM program at the Monterrey and Guadalajara headquarters.
