The President of SAP México earned a Master’s in Administration degree at EGADE Business School and a B.S. in Systems Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

In order to honor her outstanding leadership and extraordinary career, Angela Gómez Aiza, President of SAP México, has been distinguished by EGADE Business School - Tecnológico de Monterrey with the 2022 EGADE Alumni Achievement Award.
This recognition is awarded annually to an EGADE Business School alumna or alumnus whose professional activities have had a positive impact on business, organizations, and society.
Gómez Aiza earned a Master’s in Administration degree at EGADE Business School and a B.S. in Systems Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
“I am deeply grateful to EGADE Business School and Tecnológico de Monterrey for honoring me with the 2022 EGADE Alumni Achievement Award. Receiving this distinction from my alma mater fills me with great pride and is an important reminder that success is built on perseverance and passion, offers inspiration to continue to contribute to Mexico’s technological and sustainable development,” Gómez Aiza said.
The award winner was announced on February 21 within the framework of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Annual Board Meeting, and the prize-giving ceremony will take place in the summer during the 2022 Annual EGADE Alumni Meeting.
Gómez Aiza forms part of the select group of 22 Tecnológico de Monterrey graduates who received the Tec Alumni Achievement Award through the institution’s different campuses, regions, and graduate schools.
“The EGADE Alumni Achievement Award celebrates the transformational leadership of our graduates. Angela has been recognized for her extraordinary talent and career, but above all for her commitment to and positive impact on companies, business ventures, and organizations, reflected in significant growth in the adoption of cloud technology in our country,” commented Osmar Zavaleta Vázquez, Interim Dean of EGADE Business School.
Since 2013, the year in which the Award was instituted, the goal has been to recognize alumni who have had a positive impact on Tec and its community, in order to showcase their achievements in areas such as business development, education, science and research, public service, human rights, volunteering, philanthropy, the arts, or sports.

ANGELA GÓMEZ AIZA
Gómez Aiza has enjoyed an outstanding 23-year career in leadership positions in the technology, retail, and consumer goods industries. Her priorities at the helm of SAP México include fostering innovation and technological transformation among Mexican companies, supporting their evolution towards the cloud.
She has developed most of her professional career at SAP, where, for 15 years, she directed diverse areas, including the vice-presidency of Services for Mexico and Central America. SAP is the leading business software company in the world.
She has also served as Chief Innovation Officer at El Palacio de Hierro, and as president for Latin America at Safilo Group.
Her career path and commitment to the development of the country and its competitiveness led to her recent recognition as one of the 100 most powerful women in Mexico by two of the nation’s most important business magazines.
