Students and Alumni Connect with Recruiters and Leading Companies at Talent & Career

Through the Highered platform, students and alumni visited the virtual booths of more than 40 organizations to learn about career opportunities in different industries and interact with human resource leaders.

Prepare, explore, connect, position! Under these premises, over 600 EGADE Business School students and alumni participated from July 19 to 22 in various activities at Talent & Career 2021.

The third edition of this national recruitment and networking event, organized by Career Services, was 100% online format

PREPARE: MASTERCLASSES 

During the first two days of Talent & Career, participants enjoyed the masterclasses “Cómo destacar tu perfil profesional con tu elevator pitch” and “Cómo hackear tu networking”, offered by Luis Carlos Chapa, Senior Partner at Bluemind Recruitment Experts, and Gabriela Mitri, Founder of SpeakHer Nights, respectively. 

CV clinics were also available with Career Services experts, who reviewed participants’ résumés in real-time and offered tips to make each profile stand out. 

EXPLORE: VIRTUAL BOOTHS

EGADE Business School students and alumni explored the Talent & Career virtual booths through the Highered platform from the third day. 

There were more than 100 representatives of over 40 leading companies from different sectors and industries in the different modules. 

Participating organizations were Accenture, Alfa, American Express, Arca, Banco Santander, BAT, Bitso, Boehringer, Cemex, Citibanamex, Grupo Coppel, Corning, Danone, Deacero, Deloitte, Didi, Eaton, Endeavor, EY, Frisa, Hilti, Huawei, Iconn, IFC, John Deere, Johnson, Kellogg Company, The LEGO Group, Linde, London Consulting Group, Microsoft, Neoris, Novo Nordisk, PepsiCo, Plexus, PWC, Qualtia, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Sintec Consulting, Tata Consultancy Services, Ternium, Urrea, Viakable, and Xignux.

By the end of the event, more than 140 vacancies had been posted and the companies received over 2,000 visits

CONNECT: CHAT AND VIRTUAL SESSIONS

Students and alumni had the opportunity to interact with human resource leaders through direct chat and in live virtual sessions, in which they shared relevant data on the companies and their development plans. 

POSITION: PITCH PERFECT CHALLENGE

Talent & Career presented the Pitch Perfect Challenge for the first time, enabling participants to perfect their elevator pitch to make their professional profiles stand out. 

Ana Gabriela GarcíaAndrea Cruz and Paola Oscanoa were the challenge winners.
