EGADE Business School and the School of Governance and Public Transformation at Tecnológico de Monterrey jointly received the 2021 Health Certificate awarded by the Nuevo León State Ministry of Health.
This state award certifies that the Monterrey sites of both schools, located in the facilities they share in the Valle Oriente zone, comply with hygiene standards and that their staff is healthy and properly trained.
“I thank the related teams for this achievement. The 2021 Health Distinction fills EGADE Business School with pride, shows the commitment we have for the well-being of the various audiences we serve and motivates the teams to continue working with very high-quality standards,” commented Daniel Maranto, Director of the EGADE Business School site in Monterrey.
The Health Certificate received by EGADE Business School and the School of Governance and Public Transformation encompasses three categories:
- Healthy Enterprise: For contributing to social well-being and occupational healthcare by implementing health protocols to prevent COVID-19 infection.
- Good Hygiene Practices: For safely handling and processing food, beverages, or dietary supplements.
- Tobacco-Smoke-Free Spaces: For not having a space to smoke inside the facilities.
The authorities conducted on-site health inspections to concede this certificate and confirmed that the schools’ collaborators had received relevant training.
The Health Certificate was implemented in November 2019 and is awarded by the Nuevo León Ministry of Health through its Office of Health Regulation and Promotion.
