Global Network Week at EGADE with a focus on conscious enterprises

Twenty-eight students from the Global Network for Advanced Management business schools meet at EGADE Santa Fe headquarters.

EGADE Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey hosted the module "Building and Leading Conscious Enterprises" within the international program Global Network Week for EMBA Students in its June 2023 edition.

At its Santa Fe site in Mexico City, EGADE Business School brought together a group of 28 students representing various nationalities and nine business schools members of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM):

  • Asian Institute of Management (Philippines)
  • EGADE Business School (Mexico)
  • FGV EAESP (Brazil)
  • Haas School of Business (USA)
  • IE Business School (Spain)
  • Said Business School (United Kingdom)
  • UBC Sauder School of Business (Canada)
  • UNSW Business School (Australia)
  • Yale School of Management (USA)

Within the module designed by EGADE Business School, the participants developed an understanding of the tenets of conscious capitalism, balancing a theoretical and practical perspective to analyze the impact of these practices on the possibility of transforming a conventional business into a conscious one.

The activities took place from June 12 to 16 and included academic sessions, cultural-business visits, and networking.

Ernesto Amorós, Associate Dean of the Faculty at EGADE Business School, welcomed the participants.

The sessions were taught by Raj Sisodia, FEMSA Distinguished University Professor of Conscious Enterprise and president of the Center for Conscious Companies at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and professors Luis Gerardo GonzálezRajiv MaherMayte Barba, and Franciso A. Espinoza.

As a guest speaker, there was the participation of Juan Muldoon, global director of People of Grupo Bimbo.

In other activities, the participants visited the Archaeological Zone of Teotihuacán, the National Museum of Anthropology, the Franz Mayer Museum, where they toured the "Carla Fernández Casa de Moda" exhibition, and KidZania.

They also enjoyed a Pacari chocolate tasting.

AROUND THE WORLD

Simultaneously within the Global Network Week for EMBA Students in June 2023, 63 EGADE Business School students participated in 18 modules taught by different GNAM business schools, including the one offered at EGADE Santa Fe.

The EGADE Business School students who participated in these modules study the EGADE MBAEGADE Full-Time MBA, and EGADE - UNC Charlotte MBA in Global Business & Strategy programs.
