EGADE Business School - Tecnológico de Monterrey stood out among the winners of the 2022 EQUAA Awards, in the category “Academic and Institutional Internationalization.”
The prize was awarded for the project “De lo presencial a lo digital: EGADE transformando la experiencia internacional del estudiante” (From In-Person to Digital: EGADE Transforming Students’ International Experience), presented by Armida Lozano, Director of Internationalization; Gabriela Paz, Customized Program and International Event Coordinator, and Alejandra Gómez, International Program Coordinator.
The EQUAA Awards winners were announced and given their prizes within the framework of the VIII International Accreditation Forum “Leadership towards Continuous Improvement in Education,” held in the city of Barcelona, Spain, from June 16 to 18.
Representing EGADE Business School, Lozano attended the event in person, where she presented the project and accepted the prize.
The award-winning project showcases how EGADE Business School managed to shift from in-person to digital formats during the COVID-19 contingency, seeking to transform and assure the continuity of students’ international experience, implementing didactic components of the Tec flexible digital model and enriching their programs, such as Global Network Week, with information capsules on Mexican culture.
The EQUAA Awards are promoted by the international accreditation agency of the same name, in conjunction with institutions and associations linked to higher education in Latin America, in order to recognize innovation and internationalization initiatives implemented by institutions of higher education over the past few years.
