Dear EGADE Business School students,
We hope that you and your loved ones are doing very well.
We are excited to share the recent communication from Tecnológico de Monterrey sent to our High School and Undergraduate students: Announcement on the conclusion of this semester and the advances for the Summer & Fall 2021 academic terms.
At EGADE we also preparing to commence the 2021 Summer term (semestral/trimestral), the August semester, and the September 2021 trimester in the hybrid format, with the option of some face-to-face classes commencing gradually from the Summer. Our professors and collaborators have been intensively preparing as part of our Conscious Return Plan and they have adapted to the circumstances and innovated to respond to the challenge.
The EGADE sites are entirely prepared to operate in a hybrid format, with the reconfiguration of our installations considering the strictest health, safety, and hygiene protocols, in line with the established global standards.
We emphasize that the decision by Students to return to on-Campus/on-Site attendance at our programs is entirely voluntary and that all our academic programming in the face-to-face format will be subject to the epidemiological risk conditions, and the installations conditions pertaining, at each EGADE site or Campus.
What will the EGADE hybrid return for the Summer 2021, the August 2021 semester, and the September 2021 trimester look like?
We will continue with the deployment of the HyFlex+ Tec model, through the implementation of the following actions:
Our academic programming will include two formats:
- Hybrid: combining face-to-face and distance class sessions, alternating the Students of each group, and taking advantage of our comprehensive digital resources.
- Remote: Students would take their classes and sessions remotely throughout the entire course.
The groups in each modality will be activated according to the academic programming in each period, the permitted capacity in each EGADE site/campus, and always aligned with the guidelines dictated by the federal and state authorities.
- EGADE LiFE:
The hybrid experience beyond the classroom will commence from August 2021, with a gradual return to face-to-face EGADE LiFE activities, career services, and certain events that complement the academic experience of our Student community. Once again this will depend on the epidemiological risk conditions in vigor in each entity, and the wider capacities and conditions of each EGADE site/ campus.
- International Programs Summer / Fall 2021:
Our international program offer is aligned with the guidelines issued by the Vicerrectory for Internationalization at Tecnológico de Monterrey, with the following considerations applying:
3.1 EGADE students traveling abroad to international programs:
- The Global Network Week programs for June and October 2021 will be held remotely by agreement of the Global Network for Advanced Management consortium.
- All Summer short courses will remain in virtual format.
- From the August 2021 semester and the September 2021 trimester, students who wish to participate in an international exchange or double degree program have the opportunity to do so in-person, in hybrid mode, or remotely, depending on the conditions and the policies of each country and each partner university.
3.2 International students traveling into Mexico to EGADE
- For the August 2021 semester and the September 2021 trimester, it has been decided to offer our EGADE international programs in remote and hybrid modalities. However, the hybrid modality will be limited to the EGADE Monterrey site only and will be operable under certain conditions.
Note: We leave it to the discretion of those Students who may consider traveling from Mexico internationally, or into Mexico, for international programs, to take their decisions consciously and responsibly.

4. Summer Graduations 2021:
We take the opportunity to advise our Students who are graduation candidates this Summer, that we will soon be sharing updates related to the events. In the coming two weeks, you will receive further information in your institutional emails.
It is important to mention that our Conscious Return Plan at EGADE is designed to increase or reduce capacities, or indeed, should the conditions require, to return to fully remote mode, as necessary.
We remind you to visit the institutional Conscious Return Site to consult more information and keep an eye on official communications from EGADE.
Likewise, we invite you to share any questions or concerns about a return to EGADE campus/site, as part of the HyFlex +Tec mode with face-to-face options, with your Program Directors.
