EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey has formalized a strategic collaboration agreement with Chilean organization Mujeres Empresarias, with the support of business transformation consulting firm IDEMAX, to boost women's participation in top management and strengthen their leadership in the business world.
The formalization of this collaboration is led by Horacio Arredondo, Dean of EGADE Business School, together with Carolina Eterovic and Francisca Valdés, founders and executive directors of Mujeres Empresarias, reaffirming their shared commitment to promoting the development and visibility of female leadership in the region.
The collaboration includes the joint design, development, and implementation of initiatives that promote female leadership, as well as a portfolio of projects focused on strengthening networks and opening opportunities for women in executive positions.
In this context, EGADE Business School strengthens its executive program Women Leading Organizations, designed to help female executives and board members recognize their potential aligned to their purpose, through an intensive experience with top-level leaders and experts. Lourdes Ocampo heads the program’s academic leadership.
“At EGADE, we firmly believe in the transformative power of women leaders and in the urgency of creating more inclusive and representative spaces. This alliance allows us to strengthen our commitment to transforming the business world in Latin America and the gender balance needed to achieve it,” stated Arredondo.
For her part, Francisca Valdés, director of Mujeres Empresarias, remarked, “The path toward gender balance in companies does not happen on its own: it must be measured, managed, and actively worked on. This collaboration with EGADE Business School and IDEMAX allows us to push even harder for that transformation to take place in Latin America.”
Mujeres Empresarias is a Chilean organization that, for 24 years, has been building and connecting professional development spaces for women, offering training programs, personalized consulting, acceleration methodologies, and visibility for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and women in top management.
IDEMAX, meanwhile, is a regional business transformation consultancy that creates value through strategy, innovation, and scientific knowledge, supporting organizations in driving purposeful and meaningful initiatives. In 2023, IDEMAX and EGADE signed a strategic agreement to strengthen the research and development (R&D) ecosystem in Latin America.
The formalization of this collaboration reinforces the vision of EGADE Business School to transform the future of business and to consolidate more diverse, conscious, and committed leadership in the region.
