The International Society Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) bestowed the 2022 Distinguished Educator Award on the Director of Internationalization of EGADE Business School -Tecnológico de Monterrey, Armida Lozano, for her dedication and outstanding performance in favor of education.
The ceremony was held on May 20th by the DKG Nuevo León Chapter, at the Facultad Libre de Derecho auditorium, in Monterrey.
"Education is multifaceted, and doesn’t just take place in the classroom since we can all be teachers; sharing my experience and what I know is extremely important for me. Life teaches us more than books: humility, gratitude and to see that we all learn from each other,” Lozano said after receiving her award.
During this same event, Gloria Elizondo, Founder and Director of the Centro de Desarrollo Infantil (Child Development Center), and Daniela de la Fuente, Art Teacher at Instituto Nuevo Amanecer, were also honored.
The purpose of DKG, which has 17 member countries, is to bring together women leaders from the field of education who impact education worldwide.
The Internationalization area, led by Lozano, offers EGADE Business School students a wide variety of opportunities, such as student exchange, dual degrees, immersions, and diverse international programs.
