BIOGRAPHY
Committed to academic excellence and passionate for research.

Professor Jose Manuel Maraboto Quepons has a 29-year professional career in Tecnológico de Monterrey, during which he has served as director of the management area department; director of bachelor; and regular associate professor in the Business School, Campus Monterrey and in EGADE Business School. 

 

Currently, he is the Director of the Master Program in Business Management in EGADE Business School. He was National Coordinator of the Academy of Business Management of ITESM System, having under his charge the design of syllabus 2011 for the Bachelor in Business Management. Since 2007, he is a visiting professor at the American University of Managua (UAM), Managua, Nicaragua, teaching Strategic Planning, in the program of Master in Administration UAM-ITESM. 

 

Professor Maraboto has broad experience in areas of Executive Education and Consulting, both in Mexico and abroad, teaching programs for companies such as Grupo ALFA, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma, General Motors Mexico, GRUMA, Realty World México, Grupo FEMSA, Mexican Hotel Association of Nuevo León, Grupo Prisma, Grupo Rebasa, Grupo Senda, Grupo Tigo (El Salvador, C.A.), Grupo Soriana, Seven Eleven, Hotel “El Panamá” (Panamá, C.A.); Volkswagen Mexico, Roche Laboratories, among others. In 2007, he was awarded the “Award to Teaching and Research Work,” and in 2013 he was granted the Award “ERSKINE & LEENDERS” to the best written case granted by the Latin American Association of Cases (ALAC, by its acronym in Spanish). 

 

Some of his areas of interest in research are Social Entrepreneurship, Corporate Innovation, Service Management, and Negotiation Strategies.
