BIOGRAPHY
"One man's trash is another man's treasure".

Dr. Aguiñaga’s research is focused on sustainability and innovation issues, mainly on those regarding the concept of circular economy. Thanks to his knowledge on circular economy, he acquired the position of Circular Economy Leader at HEINEKEN Mexico, where he led the company's transition strategy into this new economic model.

As a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, he has published various scientific articles. His articles have been published in academic journals such as The Journal of Cleaner Production and Management Research, and The Journal of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management.

He has also collaborated in several consulting projects focused on waste valorization in Mexico and Latin America.

Dr. Aguiñaga currently holds the title of National Director of the Full-Time Programs at EGADE Business School, his responsibility includes the direction of the Master in Business Management and the Full-Time MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
