EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey was recognised on March 31 by AACSB International through its global 2025 Innovations That Inspire program for its outstanding contribution to the Más Pymex Program.

Coordinated by the Chamber of the Transformation Industry of Nuevo León (CAINTRA), Más Pymex has convened 24 industrial groups over the past two years, all committed to increasing the participation of Mexican SMEs in their value chains, with an impact on more than 3,000 companies.

As part of this initiative, the SME Development Program was created in collaboration with the Monterrey Competitiveness Center (CCM) and EGADE Business School, aiming to strengthen Mexico’s industrial value chain and promote the sustainable growth of small and medium-sized enterprises. This innovative executive program, delivered by EGADE professors and business mentors, includes integrative projects that address real-world challenges and promote co-created solutions with measurable impact.

AACSB’s Innovations That Inspire recognised a total of 26 business schools around the world this year that, like us, are innovating through strategic partnerships and collaborative solutions to strengthen communities and companies, and generate value and impact through business education,” said Horacio Arredondo, Dean of EGADE Business School.

Lily Bi, President and CEO of AACSB International, added: “This year’s Innovations That Inspire honorees exemplify the power of collaboration between business and higher education in driving positive change. EGADE Business School’s dedication to industry-centred education showcases how business schools are fostering innovation and ensuring graduates enter the workforce ready to make an immediate impact.”

Since its launch in 2016, the Innovations That Inspire program has recognised 266 initiatives from AACSB-accredited business schools worldwide for their contributions to education, research, societal impact, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

As part of the context for this recognition, on April 1, EGADE Business School hosted the graduation ceremony for the second cohort of the SME Development Program, comprising 50 business leaders who had completed the program.

EGADE Business School is part of the elite group of business schools worldwide that hold the Triple Crown of international accreditations granted by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS—a distinction earned by only 1% of the world’s top business schools.
