Pedro is passionate about higher business education, with a career of more than 25 years in public, private and non-profit institutions. This experience has given him a unique understanding of business and a comprehensive perspective of the world in which they operate, making it easier for leaders and organizations to thrive in their business ecosystem. At the beginning of his professional life, Pedro collaborated in the promotion of investment projects of foreign companies in our country. Through the Tecnológico de Monterrey, he has participated as a consultant in the Institute of Family Businesses, the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Entrepreneurship Institute, the Award for the Best Mexican Companies awarded jointly with Deloitte and Citibanamex, and Executive Education at EGADE Business School. His teaching and research activities focus on innovative entrepreneurship. His most recent publications address the creation of new companies and the growth aspirations of Mexican entrepreneurs, mainly based on data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) project. Likewise, he actively participates in different national and international forums that promote the entrepreneurial mentality. He is currently a member of the Academic Senate of Tecnológico de Monterrey and Chapter Advisor of Beta Gamma Sigma.

He is currently the director of the MBA program at EGADE Business School in Monterrey and Guadalajara.

Alejandro Ibarra

Dr. Ibarra-Yunez’s areas of specialization are international trade and finance, economic models, industrial organization and regulations, econometrics, the Latin American economy, trade blocks and commercial agreements. In recent years, his research has been based in the areas of imperfect contracts in international integration, moral hazard problems, game theory and network sectors (telecommunications, infrastructure, transport, energy, banking, and multinational outsourcing.)

His deep knowledge of networks and regulation has earned him the positions of Director of the network economies and economic regulation at Tecnológico de Monterrey, of the Graduate Center for Studies of Western Hemispheric Trade at the University of Texas at Austin (USA) - where he has also worked as Professor of International Integration and Economic Problems and Policies of Latin America since 1994. He also and the Economic and Regulatory Challenges and Opportunities for U.S.-Mexico Electricity Trade and Cooperation project at the LBJ School of Public Affairs – an institution where he has also been a visiting professor.

He has published 11 books and more than 40 articles in scientific journals related to his area of research. Additionally, he is an international consultant in the areas of industrial organization and regulation, as well as international trade and network regulation. Dr. Ibarra-Yunez is also a member of SNI (Sistema Nacional de Investigadores) Level II, Conacyt.

Ajnesh Prasad

Dr. Prasad’s research encompasses the areas of entrepreneurship, gender, and diversity in organizations and interpretive methods, topics he addresses from diverse theoretical-critical perspectives. His publications have taken poststructural, postmodern, feminist, postcolonial, neo-Marxist, and psychoanalytical approaches. He is co-chair of the Critical Management Studies division at the Academy of Management.

Dr. Prasad is the Leader of the Research Group (GI) in Leadership and Effective and Efficient Organizations at the Tecnológico de Monterrey Business School. He has published over 50 articles and chapters, which include at least 20 contributions to scientific journals such as Q1, including Academy of Management Learning and Education, Advances in Consumer Research, Business & Society, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Gender, Work and Organization, Human Relations, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management, as well as the Journal of Business Ethics and Critical Perspectives on International Business, for which he has also co-edited special issues. He is also a member of the editorial Human Relations committees and the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research. Emerald published his first book.

To date, Dr. Prasad has been the beneficiary of $15,000,000 USD in research funding, including grants and awards from national financial institutions, such as the British Academy (United Kingdom), The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (Canada), and Conacyt (Mexico). At 31, he was admitted as the youngest SNI Conacyt program level II member.

Dr. Prasad wrote much of his doctoral thesis as a graduate researcher at Yale University. His doctoral research was funded by a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and several other awards. He has taught MBA and doctoral program courses and supervised research students at the master's and doctorate levels. Before arriving at the EGADE Business School, Dr. Prasad was head teacher at the UNSW Business School (incorporated into the AGSM). He has also held research positions at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Rutgers University.
