On this occasion, the Full-Time MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship was ranked 1st out of 9 the programs evaluated in the region and 46th out of 258 worldwide, having climbed nine places from 55th in 2020.
Since 2018, EGADE Business School has surpassed every Latin American school in this ranking, including INCAE Business School and IPADE Business School.
Luis Antonio Marquez, director of the Full-Time MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, highlighted the program’s intensive nature as well as its focus on developing exceptional competencies within a multidisciplinary environment, under the guiding principle of continuous innovation.
“Numerous factors have led to our becoming the number 1 MBA in Latin America that no other program in the region offers in its curriculum map, such as: academic trips that enable students to know the relevant players in the ecosystem; masterclasses by extraordinary people, including Steve Blank and other outstanding teachers from Berkeley and Stanford; our Innovation Lab, a novel pedagogical initiative for applying the knowledge acquired to a company; and our Disruptive Nights,” he commented.
The indicators analyzed in the QS ranking are: alumni employability; value for money; entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes; thought leadership; and diversity in the student and faculty community.
In the QS Global MBA Rankings 2021, EGADE Business School’s Full-Time MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship came first in four of these groups of indicators in Latin America, while the highest places it reached at a global level were:
#18 in entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, within the top 7% in the world
#35 in employability, within the top 13.6% in the world
“The diversity of nationalities embraced in the program, the variety of experiences it offers, and the quality of the professors, are all elements in which we also stand out,” said Márquez.
In this edition, the results of the QS Global MBA Rankings were based on a global survey answered by more than 37 thousand employers and almost 35 thousand academics, and an evaluation by over 27 thousand successful alumni, covering 40 countries.
“Full-Time MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship graduates are characterized by their capacity to look for multiple solutions to problems, using a variety of methodologies, while employers highly appreciate their global outlook, leadership, and empathy,” Márquez stated.
