Two EGADE Business School graduates were included on the Expansión “The 30 Rising Stars in Business” 2021 list.
This year, the magazine presents a generation of men and women under 40 who are leaders in their fields and whose ideas translate not only into major business opportunities but also innovations with a social purpose that are truly making a difference in Mexico.
The EGADE Alumni recognized on the list are:
- Susana Moragrega, Director of Business Development at Scotiabank and EGADE MBA alumna.
Susana is the first woman to lead the Business Development area at Scotiabank, a position she has held since 2019. At the bank, which is of Canadian origin, she has led diverse business-oriented strategies, productivity improvement processes, and a successful commercial management model.
The magazine reported that Susana has shone in the Mexican banking sector thanks to her “discipline, tenacity, and continuous updating.”
- Marco Aurelio Ramírez, CFO at IMSS and Master in Finance alumnus.
As CFO at IMSS, he is in charge of the finances of the biggest social security institution in Latin America, with 6,500 family medicine units, 350 secondary care hospitals, and 36 high-specialty hospitals.
Expansión stresses the “empowerment of financial engineering to support the public sector with structured financial vehicles and the development of innovative credit structures,” all of which Marco Aurelio has achieved at IMSS since his arrival in October 2020.
The list was published in the April edition of Expansión, which can be viewed here.
