The awards ceremony was held on November 29th in the framework of the VI EQUAA Accreditation Forum:“Innovation for Quality Education,” at the Álvares Penteado School of Commerce Foundation (FECAP), in São Paulo, Brazil.

Only three institutions of higher education per country were chosen across participating Latin American nations.

Armida Lozano, Director of International Programs, attended the presentation of the Master in Business Management on behalf of EGADE Business School, and received the award on behalf of the School.

“The judging academics from different universities and business schools in Latin America and Spain, evaluated the educational innovation projects, choosing EGADE’s MBM program as the best in Mexico,” said Lozano, who also participated in a panel on Innovation and Educational Technology Trends as part of the forum.

Other institutions winning the 2019 EQUAA Awards were, in their respective countries: the State University of Mato Grosso, Brazil; the University of Development, Chile; EAFIT University, Colombia; ESAN University, Peru; and the 21st Century University, Argentina, which competed in the category of the rest of Latin America.

EGADE's MBM innovation as a new academic program was presented in a book on: “Cases of educational innovation in LATAM,” which was distributed among the attendees and participants of the forum.
