CLADEA 2021 to Underscore Innovation and Conscious Business

Co-organized by EGADE Business School, the 56th CLADEA International Congress will present the latest cutting-edge research on business and the future of education.

The central theme of the CLADEA Virtual International Congress 2021, co-organized by EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey, will be Innovation, conscious business and the future of education.

The 56th edition of the most important annual academic event of the Latin American Council of Management Schools (CLADEA) will take place from October 25 to 27.

The program brings together rectors, deans, business program directors and faculty, and researchers from across the world in plenary sessions, conferences, panels, workshops, scientific paper presentations, and social activities.

“It gives our school great pride and satisfaction to host CLADEA 2021, where the latest cutting-edge research in the areas of innovation, conscious business and the future of education will be presented,” commented Osmar Zavaleta, Interim Dean of EGADE Business School.

In addition, Manuel Ortiz de Zevallos, Executive Director of CLADEA, affirmed that, in the current scenario, entrepreneurship, innovation, and disruption in the way of doing business have become the focal points for reinventing teaching methods and management policies in business schools.

"Business schools have a responsibility to prepare conscious, entrepreneurial, innovative leaders who are capable of reinventing themselves and their organizations in order to respond to the challenges of the environment and circumstances,” added Nancy Matos, Academic Chair of CLADEA 2021.

The presentation of scientific papers during the congress will encompass 11 tracks, seeking to integrate academic knowledge and the business reality:

  1. Economics, finance, and accounting
  2. Leadership, human capital management, and gender
  3. Ethics, social responsibility, and sustainable development
  4. Entrepreneurship and SMEs
  5. Project management, operations
  6. Marketing
  7. General management and strategy
  8. Innovation and innovation management
  9. New perspectives on management and teaching in business schools
  10. Digital transformation and non-linear company management
  11. Cases

Moreover, the CLADEA XIX Doctoral Colloquium and XVIII Meeting of the Directors of Information Centers Group will be held within the framework of this event.

The congress will close with a mariachi serenade representative of the state of Jalisco, where EGADE Business School’s Guadalajara site is located.
