New members sworn in to the EXATEC EGADE Board of Directors

The EXATEC EGADE Business School Association elected its new Board of Directors for the 2020-2022 term. Among its new members are president Ulises Moisés Beltrán Arauz (MBA'15), vice-president Jesús Rosales Vázquez (MBA'16), chancellor Claudia Corona Vadillo (MBE'06), vice-chancellor Fernando Antonio Torres Aranda (MBE'02), and secretary Gabriela Espinosa Hernández (MBE'16).

Other board members include Shaday Nayelli Aranda Guevara (MBA'14) as Director of Communications; Amparo Pagés Ureña (MBE'19), Director of 3P Initiatives; Abel Antonio Rojas García (MMT'07/MA'01), Mónica Patricia Flores García (MBA'16) and Susana Edith López Alvarado (MAF'14), all members of 3P Initiatives committee.

Also joining as members are Fermín Alfonso San Juan Mejía (MA'07) as Director of the Mexico City Chapter; Guadalupe Garay González (MBA'14), Advisor of the Mexico City Chapter; Jesús Alfredo Leal Chavarin (MAF'13), Director of the Monterrey Chapter; Anel Reyes Ledezma (MBE'18), Director of the Querétaro Chapter; Blanca Elizabeth Miranda Maya (MBA'18), Advisor of the Querétaro Chapter; Gustavo Adolfo Rodríguez Arrieta (EA'19) and Lino Orozco Castillo (IIS'89/MA'06), both taking the role of Advisors.

“As alumni, we feel very fortunate, honored and privileged to be in a position where our goal is to serve. Our purpose as an association is based on the ‘three Ps’ of sustainable development, which stands for people, profit and planet, and based on these core principles we want to create bonds in the alumni community so that we can carry out activities and projects that add value to our environment,” Beltrán Arauz said, in his first speech as president.

The ceremony took place on January 31st at Salón Borregos, in the Santa Fe Campus, where the work of Alberto Diosdado (MA'79) was also celebrated. Diosdado served for 10 years as president of the EXATEC EGADE Business School Association and is now an honorary member of the association.

Jaime Martínez Bowness, director of the EGADE Business School Mexico City site, addressed the new Board of Directors and presented its new president with the representative pin. He also presented María Livas, director of Students & Alumni Relations and Career Services at EGADE Business School, with the outgoing president's pin in the representation of Diosdado.

The members of the new Board signed the inauguration document to officially begin their work in leading the association.

Attending the event were Emilio Álvarez Frangie, Manager of EXATEC Relations and Leadership at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and Orla Branigan, Director of Marketing, Communication and Alumni Relations at EGADE Business School.
