Dear EGADE Business School students,
We hope that you and your loved ones are doing very well.
We are excited to share the recent communication from Tecnológico de Monterrey related to the Preparations for the Fall semester 2021, sent recently with our High School and Undergraduate students. From EGADE we want to share with you the following:
● We have had the opportunity to celebrate the Summer 2021 Graduation ceremonies in the face-to-face format at our EGADE sites in Monterrey, Mexico City, and Guadalajara (in line with health and hygiene protocols prevailing at each location), and it was particularly special for many of our recent graduates to have had the opportunity to catch up with their former classmates, faculty and collaborators!
● Commencing with the Summer 2021 term (Semestral/Trimestral), the August Semester, and the September 2021 Trimester, we will be implementing both hybrid and remote formats for the deployment of the HyFlex+Tec model at EGADE, as follows:
a) Hybrid: combining face-to-face and distance class sessions, alternating the Students of each group and taking advantage of our comprehensive digital resources.
b) Remote: Students would take their classes and sessions remotely throughout the entire course.
● The groups in each modality will be activated according to the academic programming in each period, the permitted capacity in each EGADE site/campus, always aligned with the guidelines dictated by the federal and state authorities.
● The hybrid experience beyond the classroom will commence from August 2021, with a gradual return to face-to-face EGADE LiFE activities, career services, and certain events that complement the academic experience of our Student community. Once again, this will depend on the epidemiological risk conditions in each entity, and the wider capacities and conditions of each EGADE site/ campus.
● Our Faculty has been intensively trained in our Conscious Return Plan. They have also been prepared and are ready to make use of the new technology available in the classroom in order to interact with students both in-person and at a distance.
Our EGADE international program offer is aligned with the guidelines issued by the Vicerrectory for Internationalization at Tecnológico de Monterrey, with the following considerations applying:
● EGADE students travelling abroad to international programs:
a) All Summer short courses will remain in virtual format.
b) From the August 2021 semester and the September 2021 trimester, students who wish to participate in an international exchange or double degree program have the opportunity to do so in-person, in hybrid mode, or remotely, depending on the conditions and the policies of each country and each partner university.
c) The Global Network Week programs for October 2021 will be held remotely by agreement of the Global Network for Advanced Management consortium.
● International students travelling into Mexico to EGADE
a) For the August 2021 semester and the September 2021 trimester, it has been decided to offer our EGADE international programs in remote and hybrid modalities. However, the hybrid modality will be limited to the EGADE Monterrey site only and will be operable under certain conditions.
Note: We leave it to the discretion of those Students who may consider travelling from Mexico internationally, or into Mexico, for international programs, to take their decisions consciously and responsibly.

It's important to note also that our Conscious, Flexible Return Plan at EGADE is designed to increase or reduce capacities, or indeed, should the conditions require, to return to fully remote mode, as necessary.
