Context COVID-19: EGADE Academic Continuance in Online Class Delivery & Suspension of Events/Activities

Preventively and in response to the measures announced by Tec de Monterrey, EGADE Business School has adjusted its plans for the delivery of ongoing academic programs.

This is the full official communication:

Dear EGADE students:

In the context of the propagation globally of COVID-19, and with an abundance of caution for your well-being, we wish to follow up on the official communication issued this afternoon by Tecnológico de Monterrey, and let you know our plans for the adjustment of classes and on-site activities for the rest of this academic period.

All classes currently being taught at EGADE will be suspended in the face-to-face format and will migrate to online delivery, according to the following schedule:

OneMBA students: The sessions to be held during the rest of the current academic term will be held online starting tomorrow, Friday, March 13.

Students from the following programs (list below): Class sessions for the remainder of this trimester in progress will be delivered online, from next Tuesday, March 17.

• Full-Time MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship
• MBA (Part Time)
• MBA Global Business & Strategy
• MBA Querétaro
• MBA EGADE CENTRUM (Lima)
• Master in Finance
• Master in Business Management
• Specialty in Energy Administration

Students of doctoral programs (Ph.D. in Business Administration, DCA, and Ph.D. in Financial Science, DCF): Doctoral class sessions will be move to the online format, commencing next Tuesday, March 17.

Events on campus and at EGADE sites will be suspended from Tuesday 17th March, 2020 until further updates.

We confirm that all student international academic trips, residencies and exchanges have been suspended until further notice. 

The Director and Coordinator of your academic program will be in contact with you from tomorrow, Friday 13th March, to provide you with specific details on these plans for online class transmission. Our International Programs office will also be fully available to help you with any queries you may have.  

During the Easter break we will update everyone in relation to these contingency measures.

We invite you to constantly consult the institutional site https://tec.mx/es/coronavirus-covid-19, where you can find the official communications of Tecnológico de Monterrey, the measures implemented, and useful information on how to proceed individually and as part of the institution. This site will be permanently updated as the contingency evolves.
