Ha publicado extensamente sobre temas de negocios, siendo uno de los autores más prolíficos en el área de ética empresarial. Ha publicado artículos académicos en revistas tales como Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Business Ethics Quarterly, y Business & Society, entre otras. Es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores del Conacyt, nivel III y co-editor de la revista Business & Society. En enero de 2018, el Dr. Bryan Husted recibió el “Premio Insignia” en el Premio a la Investigación e Innovación Rómulo Garza 2017 por su trayectoria de 28 años en investigación en el Tecnológico de Monterrey. Ha tenido una destacada carrera académica como profesor e investigador en el Tecnológico de Monterrey desde 1990, así como en instituciones extranjeras como IE Business School en Madrid y la Escuela Schulich de Negocios de York University en Toronto.

Professor Porras Musalem’s research on logistics systems and inventories have been published in internationally renowned specialist journals and have focused on lectures he has presented at national and international congresses. As an expert and leader in the logistics field, Professor Porras was the Director of Research (2011-2014) at the Innovation Center in Logistics and Commerce, Tecnológico de Monterrey which comprises the network of research centers in Logistics of the Supply Chain and Logistics Institute at the University Georgia Tech. He has also participated in consulting projects for industry in logistics and supply chain-related topics. He was also a member of the SNI (Sistema National de Investigadores, Level 1, Conacyt (2007-2012).

Álvaro de Garay Arellano was Director of EGADE Business School in Mexico City. Álvaro is an independent Board Member of the Royal Bank of Scotland in Mexico and of the Technical Committee of the Macquarie Mexico Real Estate Management Trust Fund. He has served in senior leadership position in the international financial services sector, including as, Risk and Compliance Director in the Asset Management Division of Citigroup Latin America, Vice President of Planning and Marketing in Citibank Mexico and Divisional Director of Credit Analysis and Strategic Planning in GBM-Atlantic Group. He also served as Director of Planning in Teléfonos de México and as Managing Partner of the consulting firm BIE Consultants. Álvaro received his degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Aston in Birmingham, UK.

Dr. Ibarra-Yunez’s areas of specialization are international trade and finance, economic models, industrial organization and regulations, econometrics, the Latin American economy, trade blocks and commercial agreements. In recent years, his research has been based in the areas of imperfect contracts in international integration, moral hazard problems, game theory and network sectors (telecommunications, infrastructure, transport, energy, banking, and multinational outsourcing.) His deep knowledge of networks and regulation has earned him the positions of Director of the network economies and economic regulation at Tecnológico de Monterrey, of the Graduate Center for Studies of Western Hemispheric Trade at the University of Texas at Austin (USA) - where he has also worked as Professor of International Integration and Economic Problems and Policies of Latin America since 1994. He also and the Economic and Regulatory Challenges and Opportunities for U.S.-Mexico Electricity Trade and Cooperation project at the LBJ School of Public Affairs – an institution where he has also been a visiting professor.
