Renzo Casapía has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of San Agustin in Peru and holds an MBA from HEC University of Montreal, Canada.  Renzo has occupied leadership roles in Human Resources, Sales and Marketing in top multinational companies such as Citigroup and IBM in Peru, Mexico and Canada.    He has been a keynote speaker and panelist at serval global business and academic events. He is currently the Managing Director for Cengage/National Geographic Learning in Latin America. Prior to assuming this role, Renzo was Managing Director of UVM Sur, the largest and most representative operation of Laureate International Universities with16,000 students. In all his roles, he has leveraged technology and data to generate change and innovation.  He currently teaches Business Intelligence, People and Data Analytics at the MBA of EGADE (Tec de Monterrey) in Mexico City. Renzo is also a board member at Inroads Mexico, an international organization oriented to provide leadership opportunities to undeserved university students in Mexico. Renzo is Canadian and Peruvian, is happily married with two daughters (Andrea y Lucianna), enjoys languages, teaching and social work.

With more than ten years of experience working with multinational companies, his expertise revolves around topics such as financial analysis, sustainable finance, business planning, renewable energy, and project financing. He has written financial editorials for influential newspapers in Mexico, such as El Financiero and El Economista, and has been invited to teach courses at several universities in Latin America, the United States, and Europe. Not only is he a part of the faculty at EGADE Business School, but he is also a professor of Sustainable Finance and Impact Investments at the Harvard Extension School.
