More than 200 EGADE Business School alumni connected virtually to enjoy the 2021 edition of EGADE's EXATEC Fest.

This celebration, exclusively for the EGADE alumni community, took place on September 23 on Zoom, after the live broadcast of the grand event, EXATEC Fest.

In his welcome message, Osmar Zavaleta, Interim Dean of EGADE Business School, congratulated the alumni for the results obtained in the QS Global MBA & Business Masters Rankings 2022

"Our school reaffirmed its leadership, with its master's degrees ranked number 1 in Mexico and Latin America, and, in particular, top results in the indicator 'Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes' both regionally and worldwide.

"These results fill us with great pride since, to a large extent, they are the result of the impact you, our extraordinary EXATEC EGADE community have made, and of your achievements as business leaders and entrepreneurs," Zavaleta said.

As part of the activities, the strategist and digital anthropologist Rahaf Harfoush addressed the alumni's talk "How to Lead and Thrive in Times of Disruptive Change."

The New York Times best-seller author explored the intersections of leadership, emerging technologies, and digital culture, focusing on the impacts of artificial intelligence, algorithms, social media, and big data.

"We are living in an era of humanness, and technology will force us to redefine what it means to be humans, set boundaries, have difficult conversations, and figure out these tools' roles," Harfoush said.

To bring the event to a close, Chef Iván Torrejón guided the alumni in preparing the traditional Chilaquiles Tec.

Before the event, attendees had already received a box with the necessary ingredients to follow the recipe during the event's closure.
