Learn about the admission process

The EGADE Business School Admissions Committee carries out a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate looking to join any of our programs. We assess our candidates' professional experience, background, and academic performance, along with quantitative elements such as their scores on the admissions and English proficiency tests.

Step 1. Admission application for national and international students

Your advisor will email you your access to your admission application.

* If you don't have an admissions advisor please send an email to: admision.egade@itesm.mx

In the admission application you must upload the following:
Mexican students:

  • Copy of birth certificate

  • Copy of CURP

  • Copy of official identification (INE/Passport)

  • Copy of the legalized professional degree or diploma

  • Copy of the legalized certificate of studies or academic transcript 

  • Copy of professional license

  • Up to date CV

  • 2 professional recommendation letters

  • Digital photograph (in PNG format)

*All documents must be in PDF format and if applicable must be on both sides.
These documents will be requested in original.

International students:

  • Copy of apostilled birth certificate

  • Copy of passport or ID

  • Copy of the apostilled professional degree and/or bachelor's degree 

  • Copy of the apostilled certificate of studies or academic transcript

  • Up to date CV

  • 2 professional recommendation letters

  • Digital photograph (in PNG format)

*All documents must be in PDF format and if applicable must be on both sides.
These documents will be requested in original.

Apostille procedure for documents issued in Mexico City

  1. First, you must go to the Dirección General de Educación Superior to have the document certified in Av. Universidad # 1200 Col. Xoco, what used to be the Bancomer Center, a few steps away from the Coyoacán subway.
  2. Then to the Secretaría de Gobernación. Río Amazonas #62 Col. Cuauhtémoc, Del. Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City. C.P. 06500 link http://dicoppu.segob.gob.mx/

Online Revalidation Process

Revalidation of professional studies is a new option to complete the process remotely to be able to move forward during the contingency, in the following email account you could make the request: ingresosolicitudesrevalidaciones@nube.sep.gob.mx

Interested parties must verify the required documents and send all of them scanned in a single file in PDF format to the email provided from 09:00 to 15:00 from Monday to Friday, any corresponding action will be notified by the same means.

Frequently asked questions about revalidation

  1. All documents submitted will be subject to review and validation by the corresponding authorities and will remain under the institution's custody until the conclusion of the postgraduate program or upon request of definitive withdrawal from the program.
  2. The documents must be legalized by the corresponding process that validates the document for its use in Mexico. Those countries part of the Hague treaty APOSTILIZE the documents (annex 1), the countries that are not part of the treaty AUTHENTICATE the documents.

Step 2. Schedule and do the interview online (KIRA)*

* Transitional process. This interview temporarily replaces the admission exams.

Once you have completed your application form, your admissions advisor will provide you with an invitation to your interview.

What should I expect from the interview?
It is an interview where we seek to measure your skills, competencies, and business awareness.
  • You will only need a device with an internet connection, camera, and video.
It will take between 40 to 50 minutes to complete the interview.
It will consist of about 9 oral questions and 1 written question with limited time for each one.
The Languages of the interview will be Spanish and English.

The language of your interview will depend on the language of the program you are applying for:

  • MBA, MAF, MBD, MAFV: Spanish and English
  • GBS, EMBA, MBM: English*

* These programs require a current and valid language proficiency test.

There is only one opportunity to conduct the interview.
  • No breaks are allowed but don't worry, you will have the opportunity to do unlimited practice sessions before starting your test.
Step 3. Once you have completed the above steps.

Your application will be evaluated by an Admissions Committee which will holistically determine the final decision regarding your admission.
