Alicia Fernanda Galindo Manrique
Director of the Master in Finance at Monterrey site
Alicia Fernanda Galindo Manrique holds a PhD in Accounting with a specialization in Sustainability from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL). She also earned a Master in Finance and an MBA from EGADE Business School, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
She currently serves as Director of the Master in Finance Program at EGADE Business School’s Monterrey site. Previously, she was Director of the Bachelor in Public Accounting and Finance Program at Tecnológico de Monterrey. She is a Level I member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNI) under SECIHTI and was recognized through the Ciencia de Frontera 2025 initiative. She actively participates in finance research groups at both EGADE Business School and UANL.
Her academic work includes publications in Q1-, Q2-, and Scopus-indexed journals, as well as authorship of the book R Programming Language in Finance: The Relationship Between Financial Performance and ESG Sustainable Performance. She has also co-authored book chapters and contributed as a columnist to media outlets such as El Financiero and Forbes México.
Professionally, she is affiliated with the Institute of Public Accountants of Nuevo León, where she chairs the Sustainability Committee (COS). She is also a mentor in the Tec Lean Growth program and co-host of Territorio Negocios, a podcast produced by EGADE Business School. In the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, she received the “AI Pioneer” distinction from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2020 for her application of artificial intelligence in education. That same year, she founded ÁBACO Finanzas, an initiative focused on promoting financial education and entrepreneurship among children and adolescents. For this work, she received the Mujer Tec Award 2023 in the Entrepreneurship category.
