Supply chain management is key to business competitiveness. In a world of constant change, combining strategic vision with operational efficiency is essential.
In episode 204 of Territorio Negocios, Eric Porras, National Director of MBA Programs at EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and José Ambe, CEO of Logística de México, spoke with Eva Guerra, Associate Dean of EGADE Business School, about this topic.
Porras emphasized that adapting to modern logistics involves tariff, strategic, and supplier management challenges. Technology also plays a key role in this process.
“Not only does it help companies reduce costs, but also gain greater flexibility, resilience, and visibility in what we know as the end-to-end supply chain strategy,” he said.
Ambe highlighted the importance of logistics in achieving organizational goals: “Thanks to logistics, companies may or may not be successful in their markets and in customer satisfaction.”
He pointed out that the second National Study of Logistics Indicators, an initiative by the Soy Logístico association, Logística de México and EGADE Business School, presented significant findings that allow companies to benchmark their performance and identify areas for improvement in competitiveness.
Both guests concluded that while the market and industry continue to evolve, companies must be the ones with the flexibility and agility needed to adapt.
