Horacio Arredondo is Dean of the Business School and EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Through his leadership, he drives the transformation of business education in Latin America, with a vision focused on innovation, sustainable growth, and the development of conscious leaders.
He is an expert in Strategy, Organizational Alignment, and Corporate Governance, and has guided family businesses and organizations across various sectors in Latin America through their transformation and growth processes.
He currently serves on the International Advisory Board of the Institute for the Future of Education (IFE) at Tecnológico de Monterrey, the AMBA & BGA Latin America Advisory Council, the Latin American and Caribbean Advisory Council (LAAC) of AACSB, the Americas Advisory Board of EFMD Global, and the EGADE Global Academic Advisory Council.
Previously, he served as Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Executive Development at the Adolfo Ibáñez University Business School in Santiago, Chile, as well as Executive Director of the Family Business Center at the same institution and Professor in the area of Strategy and General Management.
Horacio holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and a Master's in Research Methodology in Management Science from IE Business School, IE University (Spain); an MBA from Adolfo Ibáñez University (Chile); a Postgraduate Specialization in Finance from the University of the Republic (Uruguay); and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the same university.
