Eric Porras

Eric Porras Musalem is the Director of the EGADE – W. P. Carey Executive MBA program. At EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, he has held various leadership roles, including National Director of MBA Programs.

His research focuses on logistics systems and inventory management, subjects on which he has published in prestigious international journals and presented at national and international academic conferences.

As an expert in logistics, he served as Director of Research (2011–2014) at the Logistics and Trade Innovation Center at Tecnológico de Monterrey, part of the global network of research centers under the Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Institute. He has also participated in numerous consulting projects for industry, specializing in logistics and supply chain management.

He was a Level I member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (2007–2012) and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Soy Logístico, a leading professional association in Mexico’s logistics and supply chain sector.
