Biography

Alberto Méndez Morales is Director of the Master in Finance program at the Santa Fe site of EGADE Business School. He has also served as a full-time professor in the Department of Finance and Business Economics.

His research focuses on innovation finance, the economic impact of innovation, and public innovation policy. Since 2005, he has worked as a consultant for various companies and institutions in Colombia on topics such as business valuation, intangible asset valuation, the development of innovation metrics and indexes, and other areas aligned with his research interests.

Since 2007, he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at prestigious universities in Colombia, including Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad Externado de Colombia, and Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, where he also served as a full-time researcher.

He has served as a reviewer for renowned international academic journals, as well as for international scholarship programs from Colfuturo and research project calls funded by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Colombia.
