Alberto López earned a Doctorate in Administrative Sciences with a specialty in Marketing from the EGADE Business School. Additionally, he completed a postdoctoral program in Business Data Analytics at the University of Texas. He is a member of the National System of Conahcyt Researchers, level 1. He currently works as a professor in the Department of Marketing and Analysis at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has been an international visiting professor at universities in Spain, Germany and the United States. He has published scientific articles in the Journal of Consumer Behavior, Journal of Marketing Analytics, Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing, Journal of Experimental Psychology, among others.

El doctor Benito Alberto Rodríguez Rodríguez es profesor titular de Operaciones y Comercialización en EGADE Business School Monterrey desde enero de 1999. Ha tenido una carrera académica como profesor, investigador y consultor tanto en el Tecnológico de Monterrey como en instituciones extranjeras como De Paul University e Illinois Institute of Technology, ambas en Chicago, IL.

Dr. Fonseca Ramirez’s areas of research and teaching comprise finance, international finance, financial modeling, econometrics, and risk management. He has published numerous academic articles on finance and economy in journals such as the Journal of International Management, Accountancy and Management, of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and Stochastics, of the Autonomous Metropolitan University. He has also been recognised for his work on The Great Recession 2007-2012 (La Gran Recesión 2007-2012, IMEF).

Alejandro Ibarra

Professor of Economics and Public Policy at EGADE Business School

Dr. Ibarra-Yunez’s areas of specialization are international trade and finance, economic models, industrial organization and regulations, econometrics, the Latin American economy, trade blocks and commercial agreements. In recent years, his research has been based in the areas of imperfect contracts in international integration, moral hazard problems, game theory and network sectors (telecommunications, infrastructure, transport, energy, banking, and multinational outsourcing.) His deep knowledge of networks and regulation has earned him the positions of Director of the network economies and economic regulation at Tecnológico de Monterrey, of the Graduate Center for Studies of Western Hemispheric Trade at the University of Texas at Austin (USA) - where he has also worked as Professor of International Integration and Economic Problems and Policies of Latin America since 1994. He also and the Economic and Regulatory Challenges and Opportunities for U.S.-Mexico Electricity Trade and Cooperation project at the LBJ School of Public Affairs – an institution where he has also been a visiting professor.

Profesora de cátedra del ITESM Campus Monterrey en las materias de Evaluación de Proyectos y Fuentes de Financiamiento y Análisis de Información Financiera. Participa también como catedrática en la EGADE en la materia Fundamentos Analíticos para los Negocios, impartiendo el módulo de Contabilidad y Finanzas a nivel maestría en la EGADE, Business School. Trabajó en el Área de Gestión de Proyectos Estratégicos del Tecnológico de Monterrey, así como en el Área de Administración de Fondos y fungió como Directora Administrativa de la Escuela Nacional de Medicina del Tecnológico de Monterrey. Participó en el 4to Congreso Internacional de Investigación de Escuelas y Facultades de Negocio en donde obtuvo el premio a mejor ponencia de la mesa Contaduría y Finanzas 2018. Actualmente está estudiando el Doctorado en Contaduría con enfoque en Finanzas y Mercados en la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Participó como autora en el libro “Prácticas educativas innovadoras en Contabilidad y Finanzas” contribuyendo en un capítulo. Así mismo ha publicado en revistas académicas como Vinculatégica, InnOvaciOnes de NegOciOs y la columna de opinión en negocios del Financiero.

Professor of Ethics at EGADE Business School

Álvaro de Garay Arellano was Director of EGADE Business School in Mexico City. Álvaro is an independent Board Member of the Royal Bank of Scotland in Mexico and of the Technical Committee of the Macquarie Mexico Real Estate Management Trust Fund. He has served in senior leadership position in the international financial services sector, including as, Risk and Compliance Director in the Asset Management Division of Citigroup Latin America, Vice President of Planning and Marketing in Citibank Mexico and Divisional Director of Credit Analysis and Strategic Planning in GBM-Atlantic Group. He also served as Director of Planning in Teléfonos de México and as Managing Partner of the consulting firm BIE Consultants. Álvaro received his degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Aston in Birmingham, UK.
