Gustavo Berretta is an industrial engineer with a Master's Degree in productivity. He is currently pursuing an MBA with a entrepreneurship and innovation specialization from the EGADE Business School, where he serves as the president of the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club at campus Monterrey connecting students with the entrepreneurship ecosystem. He has been teaching subjects such as innovation and knowledge management at Tec de Monterrey since 2018 where he was giving an inspiring professor award. Gustavo is also CEO of Hunter Composites, a company specialized in fiberglass reinforced plastics in Mexico and USA.
Haydeé Moreyra currently works as Academic and Research Coordinator for the Doctoral programs in EGADE Business School Santa Fe. Her professional experience has covered both the private and the public sectors. In the public sector, Haydeé worked at INEGI as Chief of Economic Statistics Department in Guanajuato state. In the private sector, she worked as a consultant and business analyst for El Semanario newspaper and Infosel Financiero. She is currently professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, teaching courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics Introduction to Business and Intermediate Economics. She also writes a monthly column at the local magazine Fortuna: Negocios y Economía. Haydeé Moreyra holds a BA in Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MA in Economics from the University of Waterloo.
Héctor Shibata is the Investment Director of AC Ventures, a Corporate Venture Capital Fund, where he is responsible for leading the investment processes and managing the portfolio. Also, Hector is an adjunct professor at the EGADE Business School at the Monterrey Tech for Entrepreneurial Finance. Prior to this, Hector participated in a Fintech Startup. In addition, Héctor held previous positions in Private Equity and in Corporate and Investment Banking in New York and Mexico. Héctor graduated from the MBA of NYU Stern and Industrial Engineering at the Monterrey Tech in Mexico with honors.
Horacio Arredondo is Dean of EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Also, Horacio is an advisor and director of companies, with experience in various industries and countries in Latin America, both in the Private Sector, Public Sector, and NGOs. At the academic level, Horacio teaches courses in Strategy and Organizational Alignment. His research interests focus on Family Enterprise, with particular emphasis on the intersection between Strategy and Socioemotional Wealth. Previously, Horacio was Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Executive Development at the Adolfo Ibáñez University Business School, Santiago de Chile. As well as, Executive Director of the Center for Family Businesses of the UAI and Professor in the Area of Strategy and General Management in the same house of studies.
Humberto Fuentes is a doctoral student in the Department of Consumer Behavior at EGADE Business School, Tecnólogico de Monterrey. Previously, Humberto worked on branding and commercial strategy focusing on new business ventures and entrepreneurs. His current research interests include luxury branding and customer-brand relationship management.
El Dr. Isaac Lemus Aguilar es profesor, investigador, conferencista y consultor sobre temas de estrategia, emprendimiento e innovación abierta, digital y sostenible. Actualmente es Profesor del Departamento de Emprendimiento e Innovación Tecnológica de EGADE Business School. Posee un Doctorado en Administración y Economía del Politécnico di Milano (Italia) y un Doctorado Europeo en Administración Industrial (cum laude) de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (España). Cuenta con una Maestría en Gestión Estratégica de Proyectos por parte de HWU Edinburgh Business School (Reino Unido), una Maestría en Administración de Umeå University (Suecia), y un Grado en Sistemas Computacionales Administrativos del Tecnológico de Monterrey (México). Ha realizado estancias de docencia e investigación en Copenhagen Business School (Dinamarca), Northwestern Polytechnical University (China), Universidade de São Paulo (Brasil), Royal Institute of Technology (Suecia) y Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (España). Previamente ha tenido nombramientos académicos en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (España), la University of Sussex (Reino Unido) y el Politecnico di Milano (Italia).
Dr. Valdovinos Hernández focuses his research efforts and his teaching in the areas of financial accounting, administrative accounting, and administrative control, analysis and interpretation of accounting and financial information systems, evaluation of projects, and corporate finance. He has taught sessions and lectures internationally on these areas in the United States and Italy, and he has also been a visiting professor at the University of San Diego (USA). He is a member of several professional associations, such as Arrendamás, where he has served as Chairman of the Audit Committee from 2014. He is also a member of the Commission of Professional Research of the Accountants College of Guadalajara since 2011.
