Dr. Amorós Espinosa is an expert in entrepreneurship and new business development.  He currently holds the role of Director of Doctoral Programs and Co Head of the Entrepreneurship and Leadership Strategic Research Group (GIEES). In pursuit of both the interpretation and popularization research work, Dr. Amorós has written more than 40 academic articles which have been published in major international magazines, such as Small Business Economics, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, the Journal of Small Business Management, Technovation, the Journal of Business Research, the International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal and Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, amongst others. In addition, he is associate editor of the Journal of Business Venturing Insights and of the International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal.  He is also co-author of more than 30 monographs on entrepreneurial dynamics, some in cooperation with key institutions such as the World Economic Forum. In addition, he is a member of the SNI (Sistema National de Invetigadores), Level I, Conacyt and National System of Researchers of a visiting professor in several Latin American and European universities. Dr. Amorós has been a member of the Board of Directors of GEM Global and is part of the research committee of the same project. In his work within the GEM project, he has participated in the evaluation of pro-entrepreneurship public policies in a range of countries. He is Vice-President of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management, and member of the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, the Academy of International Business and the International Council of Small Business.

Dr. Chávez has worked in financial institutions for over 30 years, always in topics related to financial risk management, especially in credit risk. In Scotiabank, he was responsible for the implementation of the Basel Accord for advanced models for credit provisioning and capital purposes. Nowadays, he is responsible for the management of the capital ratio of the entities of the Grupo Financiero Scotiabank Inverlat. He was appointed in 2020 (and currently is) President of the Risk Committee for the AMIB (Mexican Brokerage Institutions Association). He has leveraged his professional practice with research and teaching at the ITESM at different levels, especially in PHD programs.

José Luis Pineda has focused his work on communication, advertising and branding. He obtained an MBA degree from Tecnologico de Monterrey, and has a PhD in Audiovisual Communication and Advertising from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. His research interests focus on the domestication of new communication technologies, as well as on building relationships between brands and their audiences in both online and offline environments.

Professor of Service Management Innovation and Entrepreneurship at EGADE Business School

Professor Quepons has a 29-year professional career at Tecnológico de Monterrey, during which he has served as Director of the administrative department; a Program Director and a regular Associate Professor at the EGADE Business School, Monterrey Campus. He was the Founding Director of the Master Program in Business Management at EGADE Business School, and the National Coordinator of the Academy of Business Management of ITESM System, overseeing the design of the 2011 syllabus for the Bachelor in Business Management. Since 2007, he is a visiting professor at the American University of Managua (UAM), Managua, Nicaragua, teaching Strategic Planning, in the program of Master in Administration UAM-ITESM. Professor Maraboto has broad experience in the areas of executive education and consulting, both in Mexico and abroad, teaching programs for companies such as Grupo ALFA, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma, General Motors Mexico, GRUMA, Realty World México, Grupo FEMSA, Mexican Hotel Association of Nuevo León, Grupo Prisma, Grupo Rebasa, Grupo Senda, Grupo Tigo (El Salvador, C.A.), Grupo Soriana, Seven Eleven, Hotel “El Panamá” (Panamá, C.A.); Volkswagen Mexico, Roche Laboratories, amongst others. In 2007, he was awarded the “Award for Teaching and Research Work,” and in 2013 he was granted the Award “ERSKINE & LEENDERS” for the best written case granted by the Latin American Association of Cases (ALAC, by its acronym in Spanish). Some of his areas of interest in research are social entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, service management, and negotiation strategies.

During the 18 years he lived in New York City, José was a Senior Vice President at digital agencies like Ogilvy, Harrison and Star, and Concentric. Concurrently, he participated in digital innovation projects that were implemental globally for Fortune 500 companies such as Roche, Novartis, and Pfizer. José completed his master's degree at Northwestern University in Chicago and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He is currently a professor at the EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey and teaches Business Intelligence & Analytics. He is also a Founding Partner of Social Me, a marketplace of world-class digital experts.

GLOBAL ONEMBA, EGADE MBA AND MBA IN GLOBAL BUSINESS AND STRATEGY (MONTERREY) DIRECTOR

Dr. Enciso González is an expert in institutional analysis and its impact on business, topics on which he has published a range of academic articles. He has also lectured on various economic and institutional themes, based on his academic background in the fields of international business and the global economy. He has worked in the public sector at the Ministry of Commerce and Industrial Development (now the Ministry of Economy) and the private sector in companies such as Nortel Networks, Tyco Electronics, Elcoteq and Global Trends de Mexico. He is a consultant on global business issues and full time professor at EGADE Business School. In addition to his role as Director of the Global OneMBA, EGADE MBA and the MBA in Global Business and Strategy at EGADE Business School Monterrey, Dr. Enciso directs various School project collaborations in international consortia of the EU including the projects PILA, EQUALITY, SUMA, UNIQUE, LA IPR HD and MUSE and is a member of the board of various organizations. He is also the Chapter Advisor of the Mexico Chapter of Beta Gama Sigma at EGADE Business School.

Juan Carlos Bustamante Urbina is a Research Professor in the Marketing and Business Intelligence Department of EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He previously taught in graduate programs at ESPAE Graduate School of Management (Ecuador) and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Cali (Colombia), and in undergraduate programs at the Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela).
