Héctor Shibata is the Investment Director of AC Ventures, a Corporate Venture Capital Fund, where he is responsible for leading the investment processes and managing the portfolio. Also, Hector is an adjunct professor at the EGADE Business School at the Monterrey Tech for Entrepreneurial Finance. Prior to this, Hector participated in a Fintech Startup. In addition, Héctor held previous positions in Private Equity and in Corporate and Investment Banking in New York and Mexico. Héctor graduated from the MBA of NYU Stern and Industrial Engineering at the Monterrey Tech in Mexico with honors.

Horacio Arredondo is Dean of EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Also, Horacio is an advisor and director of companies, with experience in various industries and countries in Latin America, both in the Private Sector, Public Sector, and NGOs. At the academic level, Horacio teaches courses in Strategy and Organizational Alignment. His research interests focus on Family Enterprise, with particular emphasis on the intersection between Strategy and Socioemotional Wealth. Previously, Horacio was Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Executive Development at the Adolfo Ibáñez University Business School, Santiago de Chile. As well as, Executive Director of the Center for Family Businesses of the UAI and Professor in the Area of Strategy and General Management in the same house of studies.

Humberto Fuentes is a doctoral student in the Department of Consumer Behavior at EGADE Business School, Tecnólogico de Monterrey. Previously, Humberto worked on branding and commercial strategy focusing on new business ventures and entrepreneurs. His current research interests include luxury branding and customer-brand relationship management.

Dr. Valdovinos Hernández focuses his research efforts and his teaching in the areas of financial accounting, administrative accounting, and administrative control, analysis and interpretation of accounting and financial information systems, evaluation of projects, and corporate finance. He has taught sessions and lectures internationally on these areas in the United States and Italy, and he has also been a visiting professor at the University of San Diego (USA). He is a member of several professional associations, such as Arrendamás, where he has served as Chairman of the Audit Committee from 2014. He is also a member of the Commission of Professional Research of the Accountants College of Guadalajara since 2011.

Jaime Humberto Beltrán Godoy has a doctorate in Administrative Sciences from EGADE Business School. He is currently a professor-researcher at the Universidad Anáhuac México, his areas of interest are focused on financial markets and behavioral finance. Since 2021 he has been a member of the National System of Researchers with Level 1.

Martínez Bowness is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the areas of education and development of human capital in Mexico. During the past eight years, Jaime has served as General Director of Fundación Pro Universitaria, a non-profit platform he founded to promote youth employability programs and skills development, as well as the Pro Meritum initiative, one of the largest programs of internships from Mexico. He was previously Co-founder and part of the leadership team of the Citibanamex Youth of Excellence program, which provides training and mentoring to outstanding young people to access postgraduate studies worldwide. He has also been Co-Founder and Director of TestPoint, a preparation center for international postgraduate admission exams, while serving as Admissions Advisor for Latin American applicants to global universities at the graduate level. He has also been a Senior Investigator in Human Capital of the Development Research Center, A.C. (CIDAC), Advisor in the General Assembly of the National Electoral Institute and Strategy Advisor in Semarnat. He has also collaborated as editor and columnist in various Latin American business publications and is the author of several academic essays.

Dr. Jairo Orozco is a professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation at EGADE Business School - Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has left a significant mark on the academic and business community with more than 15 years of experience training and motivating people in their decision to start a business and providing his experience in corporate entrepreneurship, innovation, business model redesign, and strategy. He has been a consultant to public and private companies, including the Inter-American Development Bank. He has held various liaison, academic, and research roles at institutions such as the University of Cartagena and the Ean University in Colombia, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain, and the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. His research focuses on the determinants of corporate entrepreneurship in developing countries, and his contributions have been published in renowned academic journals, such as the Journal of Small Business Management. He has participated as a speaker at renowned international conferences, such as RENT, ACEDE, CLADEA, and ICSB, sharing his experience and knowledge with the academic community.
