Enrique Tamés is a Professor in the Department of Strategy and Leadership at EGADE Business School. He has over 32 years of experience at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he has held key roles such as full-time professor, Department Director, Dean of the School of Humanities and Education, and Director of the Monterrey International Book Fair. Before joining EGADE Business School, he was Director of Human Flourishing Projects. He also collaborated with Universidad Tecmilenio as Regional Vice Rector and Director of the Institute of Sciences of Happiness. In addition to his leadership roles, Enrique has recently focused his research on Human Flourishing. He explores elements that promote our best version on personal, community, and systemic levels and delves into well-being and happiness from both philosophical and scientific perspectives. He currently leads a research project funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation and Tecnológico de Monterrey, mapping the study of Human Flourishing in Latin America. He has been a visiting researcher at the Getty Institute and Loyola University in Chicago and a visiting professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Yale University. Enrique holds coaching certifications from Gallup and Newfield Consulting and is certified in Appreciative Inquiry by Case Western Reserve University. He is also an alumnus of Singularity University. In his teaching, he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses, including leadership topics and doctoral-level research seminars.
