SWIT Research Group members among the Semifinalists of WEGE Prize
Two members of SWIT Research Group, Andrea Cantu, and Bernardo Bello, participate in WEGE Prize 2021. They have established a multidisciplinary team together with a student of the Ph.D. in Engineering, Bertha Treviño, and Iqui Heredia from the Bachelor in Mechatronics Engineering, both from Tecnologico de Monterrey, and Israel Zuñiga, an undergraduate mathematics student, UnADM. The team proposed a “Recipe for Leftovers” to solve the problem of food waste with a circular economy approach. They are not semi-finalists of the contest and will move to the second half of the competition. Congratulations and all the best to the team.
