La investigación del Dr. Szymanski se enmarca en las áreas de conocimiento de negocios internacionales, administración estratégica y liderazgo global, con especial interés en temas como el biculturalismo, la administración intercultural y las estrategias de diversidad y desempeño.

Es coautor de varios textos, entre los que destacan: “Embracing Organizational Trauma: Three Short Case Studies Illustrating Positive Effects of (Near) Death Experiences on Organizational Culture”, “Understanding Multiculturals as Ethical Global Leaders” y “The Subprime Crisis: economic consequences of emotion-driven actions”.

Ha sido investigador y profesor asistente en la Peter B. Gustavson Business School de la Universidad de Victoria (Canadá). También ha colaborado como consultor de Administración Estratégica para PwC, BCG y Deloitte.
