Fabiola Vásquez is the Director of the Master in Business Analytics (Santa Fe site) at EGADE Business School of Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she also serves as a Research Professor, member of the National Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Undergraduate Business School, and contributes to the curriculum redesign team of the school.

Her professional and academic background spans more than 17 years in strategic consulting, industry, and education, with a strong focus on advanced analytics, digital transformation, sustainability, and digital applications in nutrition. She has played a key role in the training of professionals and executives in data science, artificial intelligence, and digital marketing through both graduate and executive education programs. She teaches courses such as Machine Learning for Business, Digital and Omnichannel Analytics, Quantitative Market Research, Data Science, and Digital Transformation and Sustainability, delivered in both Mexico and Brazil. As program director, she is committed to academic excellence and meaningful learning in the formation of business leaders in Mexico and across Latin America.

Her research interests lie in advanced analytics applied to digital business, digital transformation in consumption, retail, and supply chains, sustainable food systems and environmental impact reduction, and the design of digital strategies focused on nutrition and consumer well-being. She has published in high-impact academic journals such as the International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management and the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research, with a body of work aimed at solving real-world problems by linking scientific rigor with valuable applications in industries such as retail, healthcare, technology, and education.

Professionally, she has held executive-level positions at both national and international companies. She currently collaborates as Director of Analytics at Capgemini Mexico, serving leading consumer goods companies through the implementation of AI, data science, and digital analytics projects. Previously, she was the first Director of Analytics and Customer Development at El Palacio de Hierro, where she launched the data science division and contributed to the sustained growth of the digital channel. She also worked with Accenture and PwC Mexico, designing predictive analytics models and AI solutions for corporate clients across Mexico and Latin America, with project experience in financial services, food and beverage, medical devices, technology, fashion, and consumer goods. As a consultant and speaker, she has participated in forums such as the EGADE Future Forum, Ecommerce Summit & Expo, and Global Business Connect, addressing topics like responsible AI, digital transformation in retail, and data strategies in global ecosystems.

Her work has earned her recognitions such as Best Practices Leader in E-commerce by Salesforce Mexico (2022) and Mujer Totalmente Palacio for her leadership in digital innovation and STEM. In the academic sphere, she has been recognized as Faculty of Impact for her contributions to the development of analytical talent, curricular leadership, and teaching excellence, as well as for her high performance in course evaluations (ECOAS) and graduating student surveys.

She holds a Ph.D. in Administrative Sciences with a specialization in Digital Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from UPAEP, and two bachelor’s degrees—in Industrial and Systems Engineering and in Nutrition and Integrated Wellness, both also from Tecnológico de Monterrey. She completed a postdoctoral research program in Data Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a research visit to the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics, where she continues to collaborate as an international affiliate researcher focused on sustainable supply chains, food waste reduction, and environmental impact.
