Professor Dr. Teresa Almaguer Salazar is the Director of Faculty Development at EGADE Business School. She has been a professor of both on-site and distance education in educational psychology, learning theory, and teaching models; she has taught leadership and ethics in public management in the postgraduate courses in administration and public policy, on-site and online at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Dr. Salazar has also been co-head of ethics and corporate governance, and corporate sustainability at EGADE Business School. She has also been lead professor in several programs focused on faculty development.
Over the course of her academic journey, she has been the Director of the Department of Consulting in industrial Design and the Department of Sociology, Psychology and Communication at the Graduate School of Education of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s virtual university.
She was also Founder, Professor and Academic Director of the Graduate School of Public Administration and Public Policy (EGAP) of Tecnológico de Monterrey. Dr. Salazar has also held the position of Academic Director of the Rectory of National Postgraduate Schools and EGAP Government and Public Policy, in which she focused on the area of academic administration in the two schools at national level. She was also Academic Director of the EGADE Business School from 2011 to 2018.
Dr. Salazar is currently Director of Faculty Development overseeing the process from the recruitment of faculty to their development of teaching and learning methodology in order to promote excellence in teaching and maintain an environment of continual development. She is also part of the redesign and update team of the EGADE Business School.
