Three alumni of EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey were recognized in the first edition of Mexico's Top CEOs by Forbes Mexico.
The list recognizes 20 business leaders for their business results, innovation, organizational culture, inclusion and sustainability, based on an editorial review and an assessment by a group of mentors.
EGADE alumni on the list
Louis Balat Joseph (MA'96), president of Coca-Cola Mexico and an EGADE graduate of the Master's in Administration, has more than 28 years of experience within the Coca-Cola System. Forbes highlights his leadership of operations in Mexico, South America and Asia, as well as his efforts to increase women's representation in senior leadership positions.
Isaías Martínez Cuevas (MA'04), general manager of PepsiCo Foods Mexico and an EGADE graduate of the Master's in Administration, began his career at PepsiCo in 1995 as an intern and has held a range of responsibilities across the company. Among the milestones Forbes highlights is the 2026 opening of a Sabritas plant in Celaya, Guanajuato, as part of the company's investment plan in Mexico.
Mildred Villegas (MA'04), general manager of Unilever Mexico and Foods Latin America and an EGADE graduate of the Master's in Administration, joined Unilever in 2001. In December 2024, she became the second Mexican woman to lead the company's operations in the country. Forbes notes that, under her leadership, Mexico has remained among the multinational's best-performing markets.
Villegas also received the 2026 EXATEC EGADE Merit Award, presented on September 4 during the EGADE Annual Alumni Reunion, in recognition of her leadership and professional career.
The inclusion of these EGADE alumni in the list, published in the September edition of Forbes Mexico, reflects the presence of EGADE Business School graduates in leadership positions from which they help shape the strategies of some of the country's leading companies.
