LEAD WITH INTEGRITY AND A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
As the guest speaker, Puente shared five key lessons from his professional journey, encouraging graduates to embrace their futures with purpose, integrity-driven leadership, impactful action, a positive attitude, and resilience in the face of failure.
“The most important achievement is the journey, not the destination,” Puente emphasized, urging graduates to strive to become their best selves and help others do the same.
As an EGADE alumnus himself, Puente reflected on his pride in returning home and contributing to the legacy of a school that, in his words, helped shape who he is today.
A TRANSFORMATIVE CALLING
María Guadalupe González, a graduate of the Master in Business Analytics, delivered a speech on behalf of the class, focusing on social impact, ethical responsibility, and knowledge as a driver of transformation.
“Every decision we make creates an echo. When that echo originates from the right purpose, it can inspire others to begin their own journey,” she said, inviting her peers to continue contributing through their organizations and communities.
LEADING WITH EMPATHY
Before administering the graduate oath, Arredondo delivered a message highlighting the School’s founding 30 years ago as a bold vision to create a world-class business school in Latin America.
Framing the graduation within the context of global transformation, the Dean emphasized that business can be a tool for progress when guided by ethics, innovation, and sustainability.
He called on graduates to remain engaged with the EGADE community and use their leadership to build a better future for Mexico, Latin America, and the world.
“Bring innovation, reconnect with your classmates and alumni, and let’s continue building a stronger, larger community,” Arredondo concluded.
This Monterrey ceremony will be followed by the graduation events in Mexico City on December 16 and Guadalajara on December 17.
