Eduardo Yáñez begins his journey at Tec with the EXATEC EGADE x Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship

Eduardo Yáñez De los Santos began a new chapter this August as he started his undergraduate studies in Finance at Tecnológico de Monterrey’s State of Mexico Campus as a member of the 13th generation of Leaders of Tomorrow.
His education is supported by the EXATEC EGADE x Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship, made possible through contributions from EGADE Business School alumni to initiatives such as EGADE Run 4 The Future. These donations have helped expand opportunities for young people with strong academic talent and a commitment to making an impact.
Eduardo arrives at Tec with a record of academic excellence and projects that reflect his interest in developing solutions with impact. Among them is a proposal for floor tiles that capture the energy generated by people as they walk and convert it into electricity, offering a sustainable alternative with the potential to scale.
From EXATEC EGADE generosity to an educational opportunity
Eduardo’s scholarship brings to life an initiative of the EXATEC EGADE community to support Leaders of Tomorrow, a Tecnológico de Monterrey program that provides 100% tuition support to academically talented young people who need financial assistance to pursue an undergraduate degree.
Across its 13 generations, the program has supported 2,561 young people, 940 of whom are currently studying at Tec.
Contributions from the EGADE Business School community have been channeled through initiatives such as EGADE Run 4 The Future, helping raise resources to support the education of a new generation.
In this way, alumni participation translates into a tangible opportunity for Eduardo as he begins his university journey in Finance.
A meeting with the EGADE community
During the welcome event for the 13th generation of Leaders of Tomorrow, Eduardo met Horacio Arredondo, dean of EGADE Business School; Majida Khoury Karam, director of Alumni Relations and Career Hub; and Richard Colter, president of the Board of Directors of the EXATEC EGADE Association.
The meeting provided an opportunity to congratulate him as he begins his university studies and to meet the student who is receiving this year’s support made possible by the EGADE alumni community.
Eduardo will also have the opportunity to meet members of this community on September 4, when he participates in the EGADE Annual Alumni Reunion 2026 at EGADE Business School’s Santa Fe location in Mexico City.
The ninth edition of the gathering will bring together EXATEC EGADE from different generations, programs and locations to reconnect and strengthen their global professional network.
Eduardo’s participation will put a face to the impact of the community’s contributions and connect those who donated with one of the educational opportunities they helped make possible.
