Bryan Husted, Distinguished Professor of Business and Society at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, was named a National Emeritus Researcher in the 2025 call of the National System of Researchers (SNII, by its initials in Spanish). This appointment leads this year's recognitions for the EGADE Business School faculty in the SNII.
“The National Emeritus Researcher distinction is granted to a select group of scholars with outstanding careers in advancing the country’s scientific development. Bryan’s work has had a national and international impact, not only through his exceptional academic publications but also through his leadership in mentoring new generations of scholars, disseminating knowledge, and strengthening the scientific community. Moreover, his institutional contribution has been exemplary. We extend our sincerest congratulations to Bryan for this well-deserved recognition,” said José Ernesto Amorós Espinosa, Associate Dean of Faculty and Research at EGADE Business School.
In total, five professors from EGADE Business School were recognized in the SNII this year: Alicia Fernanda Galindo Manrique, Director of the Master in Finance; Isaac Lemus Aguilar, Professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation; Rolando Fuentes Bracamontes, Professor in the Department of Finance and Business Economics; José de Jesús Rocha Salazar, Professor in the Department of Marketing and Business Intelligence; and Bryan Husted.
This recognition, granted by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation, distinguishes researchers with an extensive academic track record, high-quality scientific output, and significant contributions to the training of new generations.
In addition to these five EGADE professors, 13 other academics from the Undergraduate Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey were recognized in the 2025 call, for a total of 18 distinguished professors.

With these new appointments, promotions, and renewals—effective as of January 1, 2026—EGADE Business School and the Undergraduate Business School increased their total SNII-recognized faculty from 55 to 61 members.
Of this total, 1 is a National Emeritus Researcher, 1 is a Level III Researcher, 12 are Level II Researchers, 34 are Level I Researchers, and 13 are Candidates.
