More than 70 students from EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey participated in the EGADE International Summer 2026, an experience that took them to four business schools in the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom between July and August to complement their academic development through intensive programs focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, artificial intelligence, marketing, finance and decision-making.

The 2026 edition included academic programs at Babson College, IE Business School, Warwick Business School and Yale School of Management, combining in-person immersions with EGADE academic activities to connect the learning gained abroad with the participants’ broader academic experience.

Participants came from the EGADE MBA, EGADE MBA Online, Master in Finance, Master in Marketing, Master in Business Management, Master in Sustainable Business and Master in Business Analytics.

The four programs combined intensive academic work, exposure to different business environments and interaction with faculty and international academic communities. Each group was also accompanied by an EGADE Business School faculty member, providing academic continuity throughout the experiences hosted by the partner institutions.

Four immersions to broaden a global perspective

Held between July 13 and August 7, the programs addressed contemporary business challenges from different perspectives: from the creation of new business models to the impact of artificial intelligence on finance and marketing, as well as the application of behavioral science to decision-making.

The experiences combined immersion at the host institutions with EGADE academic activities, integrating lessons from different international ecosystems into the participants’ academic development.

The 2026 edition also expanded EGADE Business School’s International Summer offering with the addition, for the first time, of programs at IE Business School and Warwick Business School, alongside ongoing experiences at Babson College and Yale School of Management.

Entrepreneurship and innovation at Babson College

From July 13 to 17, students took part in Entrepreneurship & Innovation in Business Models at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The experience included a five-day immersion connected to Babson Build Entrepreneurship, focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and business model development.

In 2026, the Babson College experience reached its 15th edition as part of EGADE Business School’s international academic offering.

The group was accompanied by Cristian Granados, an EGADE Business School professor, helping connect the in-person experience with the program’s academic learning.

Marketing, Big Data and artificial intelligence at IE Business School

From July 20 to 24, students participated in Marketing Strategy, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in a Highly Uncertain Global Environment at the María de Molina campus of IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.

This marked the first EGADE International Summer program hosted at IE Business School, adding a new academic experience in Europe to the school’s international offering.

The immersion explored the relationship between marketing strategy, data analytics and artificial intelligence in business environments shaped by uncertainty and technological transformation.

The group was accompanied by Juan Carlos Bustamante, an EGADE Business School professor, who provided academic continuity to the topics addressed during the international experience.

The future of finance between Coventry and London

In late July, students participated in Future of Finance: AI, FinTech and Sustainable Finance, an academic immersion delivered through Warwick Business School, with activities in Coventry and London, United Kingdom.

The program also marked the first participation of Warwick Business School in the EGADE International Summer. EGADE Business School and Warwick Business School are both members of PIM (Partnership in International Management), an international network of business schools focused on strengthening academic cooperation and exchange.

The program explored the relationship between artificial intelligence, FinTech and sustainable finance, as well as their impact on the evolution of markets and organizations.

Accompanied by Alicia Galindo, an EGADE Business School professor, participants complemented the immersion week with EGADE academic activities.

Behavioral science and decision-making at Yale SOM

The international experience concluded from August 4 to 7 at Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut, with the Behavioral Science of Management program, focused on applying behavioral science to management and decision-making.

This was the fifth edition of the EGADE International Summer experience at Yale School of Management. EGADE Business School and Yale SOM are also founding members of the Global Network for Advanced Management, an international network that connects business schools to foster academic collaboration and global learning.

Accompanied by Claudia Quintanilla, an EGADE Business School professor, students explored new perspectives for understanding how individuals and organizations make decisions.

An international experience integrated into the EGADE academic journey

Beyond the specific content of each program, the EGADE International Summer 2026 gave participants from different graduate programs the opportunity to engage with new academic perspectives, interact with international communities and examine business challenges from contexts beyond Mexico.

“Summer immersion programs are an outstanding way for students to broaden their global perspective while creating valuable opportunities for institutions to deepen collaboration with leading international partners,” said Rodrigo Osuna, Coordinator of Strategic Internationalization Initiatives at EGADE Business School.

The programs incorporated academic activities from EGADE Business School to connect the experience at the host institutions with participants’ academic development, strengthening competencies for navigating increasingly interconnected organizations and markets.
